H & R hold a special place in my wedding photography heart as they were one of the first weddings that I booked in 2012. They have fast become friends as well as clients so I had no reservations when I sent Helen an email asking if she’d be able to write me a testimonial for what will be a new section (in a few months) on my soon-to-be-live website.

“Claudia called us and we had a lovely chat. For me, your wedding photographer is such a big part of your day, it’s important that you get along (and that they take fantastic photographs of course). After directing us to her blog, and browsing some of her amazing photographs on the internet, we were persuaded and booked her. Claudia is not local to us, but we are quite picky with our taste in photography, and there were not many (any?) photographers local to Birmingham with her style and approach.
The photography has got to be one of the top five priorities in a wedding, and we are so happy to have found Claudia. We were thrilled with the photos she has taken for our pre-wedding shoot. When I realized that it was snowing on the day of our pre-wed I have to say I was worried! However, Claudia not only managed to take amazing photos in spite of the weather, she managed to incorporate it into the theme of the shoot, we are sprinkled with snow in several of the pictures and it looks great. She provided us with clear instructions, without seeming pushy or demanding, and totally put us at our ease – and we are not ‘naturals’ in front of the camera!
Claudia’s passion for photography and love of weddings (!) is obvious and it’s lovely because it really rubs off on you – not that you need help getting excited about your wedding, but it is lovely to have a photographer who seems as excited as you are.
Claudia has lots of little ways to help you get inspired about and input into the photography you would like for your special day. She is professional, but at the same time feels like a friend of the family and it is very clear that she cares about what she does. So many people have asked us who our photographer is since the pre-wedding shoot, and we are really looking forward to seeing our wedding photographs in a few months time.”
