It’s one of my main goals for 2012 to ask strangers if I can take their photograph. It’ll be a monthly project and based in London. The other side of street photography, if you like, and a fantastically interesting way to meet new people.
Emma May was a little bit of a stranger when I asked her. I’ve been doing some temp work in the city over Christmas and on my first day, her hair instantly caught my eye. Isn’t it amazing?! She is always dressed very quirky but elegant and I knew she’d be a great model. I fired her off an email and one lunchtime we ventured out on to the river….
